I was first introduced to Rapido Repair about a year ago when my Dodge Charger needed tires, brakes, and other repairs. At that time I was informed the rear brakes were like new but the front brake pads, rotors, and calipers had to be replaced as well as new tires, front end alignment, and both tire rods. The cost for these services were around $3000. They offered payment options which helped and was intrigued by the level of service I had received at that time and being that I have little to no car repair knowledge I went with the recommendations. Sebastian is the technician I dealt with during the whole process. Sebastian was very informative and adhered to my problems. The day I picked up the car the check engine light was on for the first time since I purchased the car so was a little worried about it. I took the car back in and they found no issues with it at that time and it was good for 10 months... A month ago we had noticed the car sputtered while driving intermittently so we took it back into Rapido. I was made aware that both of the lower arms had to be replaced on the front end of my vehicle. Obviously as a service professional myself it’s understanding that mistakes happen however I paid a lot of money for front end work less than a year ago so I had it looked at by another reputable service shop just to be sure. They confirmed both lower arms needed replaced but quoted me half the price of Rapido. I decided to take it to Rapido anyways due to the recent work that was done and since they were familiar with my car. Upon dropping the car off I was made aware by the owner that the back brakes needed replaced as well as the rotors which was going to cost an additional $500 on top of the $725 lower arms and a $150 AC fix that needed done. Obviously since I was made aware the back brakes were like new less than a year prior I declined the additional repair to get a second opinion. The day after picking up the vehicle the AC stopped working. We took the car back in to find out the compressor and metering device now had to be replaced for an additional $1100. While leaving Rapido the check engine light goes back on. This place is great up front but behind the curtain it’s complete opposite! They offer payment options which lures people in but you end up paying triple the cost of their already high rates. Their technicians cause more harm than good on your vehicle. Please read and process this review and hopefully you won’t become their next victim!
